Ex-NFL star Warren Moon grabbed woman's crotch and removed her bathing suit, sexual harassment lawsuit alleges

Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon is facing grave sexual assault charges after a California woman filed a lawsuit against him. She has accused Moon of misconduct on multiple occasions.

The legal documents filed on Monday (4 December) in Orange County, California included charges of sexual battery against the retired footballer. According to reports, the latest allegations were made by 32-year-old Wendy Haskell, who was employed at Moon’s sports marketing firm as his executive assistant in July.

Detailing her ordeal in the documents, Haskell claimed that the former NFL star required her to wear “skimpy thong lingerie bottoms” and shared a bed whenever they travelled together on business.

Moon, who is the co-founder of Spots 1 Marketing, has also been accused of grabbing Haskell by her crotch during a business trip to Seattle, earlier this year. In a separate trip to Mexico, in October, the 61-year-old former athlete allegedly removed the plaintiff’s bathing suit after slipping a drug into her drink, it has been reported.

Haskell, whose work profile included frequent travels with Moon, also claimed that she was demoted by the firm in October after she complained about his inappropriate advances.

Following the allegations, Moon’s marketing firm is yet to comment on the lawsuit, the Washington Post reported.

However, on Wednesday, the Seattle Seahawks – where Moon has served as a radio analyst – released a statement after initially declining to comment.

“We have accepted Warren Moon’s request for a leave of absence as the club’s radio analyst,” the S statement read. “Brock Huard and Dave Wyman will assume the role of radio analyst indefinitely.”

This is, however, not the first time that the retired footballer has been involved in such a controversy. Earlier in 1995, he was sued for sexual harassment by a Minnesota Vikings cheerleader.

And just two months later, Moon’s wife Felicia reported a domestic violence incident.

The couple split in 2001 after 20 years together, Mail Online reported.
